Hi everyone, my name is Caitlin Molter and I am studying Elementary Education at the University of Mary. I am forecasted to graduate in April 2023 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. When I see myself as a professional in the future, I know that I am destined to work with children. I never thought it was my path until I was a senior in high school and decided to be a teacher's aide in our third grade classroom. After that, I knew I had to pursue my degree in Elementary Education because I saw no better way to enrich myself with the knowledge about children and how they live their daily lives than to understand the inter-workings of their education. I am passionate about the well-being of children and ensuring that they are able to get what they need in order to be successful. |

I grew up in Ashley, North Dakota, a small town near the South Dakota border. I was very involved throughout my elementary and high school years in basketball, volleyball, track, FBLA, FFA, student council, drama, youth group, choir, and band. I loved being able to give back to my community and serve all who needed it. I was grateful especially to help with the elderly in our community, because our town is becoming older and they are the ones who gave us the culture that we get to carry on today.

Throughout my journey in education, I have made sure to make time for the important people in my life. I like to go home to visit my family (including my three cats) and spend quality time when I am able. Spending time with my friends during college has also been a blessing to me. I am grateful for the opportunities to make new connections with the people in my cohort and with my professors at the University of Mary, because it has all helped me to be more prepared for the future, and has given me a support system during this time and even looking forward into the future.
